Decofloc A-FHS-500 wastewater treatment stations:

NGL has developed a solution specifically tailored to SMEs: the Decofloc A-FHS-500 water-treatment station. This is a wastewater sanitation system used in the area of metal and glass machining, and the recycling of coolants.

Objective: to render compliant the water discharged into the public sewerage system – compliance with Swiss OEaux water-protection regulations of 28 October 1998 (status on 1st January 2014).
Type of waste discharged: wastewater containing solid particles and dissolved heavy metals.

Treatment principle: insolubilization of heavy metals dissolved; coagulation of solids particles; clarification of water; flocculation; concentration and filtration of sludge to be discharged as special waste.

Parameters controlled: pH; COD; heavy metal content; hydrocarbon content; solid particle content.

Automatic management of the process:

  • Liquid reagents to optimise the treatment capacity: up to 1000 litres per hour
  • Continuous pH correction to improve control of all chemical stages involved in the treatment
  • Hydrostatic filtration of the sludge to reduce the maintenance of the system

Benefits of the equipment and of the Decofloc process:

  • reliability of the treatment using equipment manufactured in Switzerland
  • compact system covering a small floor area for a treatment capacity of over 10,000 litres per day
  • technical monitoring of the process by a team of chemists who are experts in the field of water treatment
  • training of operators and implementation of an auto-control procedure
  • excellent capacity/price and quality/price ratios
  • reduction of maintenance and servicing requirements
