To improve the working safety for decoating operations, NGL has developed Uniceral 208 in substitution of Uniceral 108 and Ceraltin 211 in substitution of Ceraltin 111:
- Uniceral 208 is especially suitable for decoating cutting, milling and hobbing tools with titanium- and aluminium-based PVD/CVD coatings on carbide and HSS substrates but also on different other substrates.
Ceraltin 211 is especially suitable for decoating cutting, milling and hobbing tools with silicon- and aluminium-based PVD/CVD coatings, on carbide substrates but also on different other substrates.

Uniceral 208 shows strong benefits compared to Uniceral 108 or any other chemical decoating solution available:
- A substantial reduction of hydrogen fluoride gas by at least 75%
- A massive decrease of condensate build-up to nearly 100%
- Low risk of cobalt leaching (if used according to NGL instructions)
Recommendation: Implementation of standard decoating process:
Ceraltin 211 shows strong benefits compared to Ceraltin 111:
- A massive reduction of condensate build-up to nearly 100%
- A considerable reduction of crystallization of condensate
- A very important reduction of precipitation on the bottom of the decoating tank
- A safer handling of the used bath
- Low risk of cobalt leaching (if used according to NGL instructions)
